Shades To Shadow, Resort '15
Modernity has been a front-liner in designing KLÉ, but in queuing the mascot color of modern, namely black, mystery is now at the helm. As a form of epilogue to the last Fall collection, the use of color is restricted. An eclipse is apparent at KLÉ, and it is in the midst of the Resort season. Separates, like a cross covering the torso, or short-sleeved and sleeveless shirts, are all loose-fitting as how a prototypical pre-collection silhouette should be. Legs are covered in A-lines and are mostly above the ankle, echoing the importance of motion, an invitation to create movements. All these being in black, as shadows are, is a representation of what leisurely travels should embody, that is a solitary break from what would be a circus of a life. Ephemeral as they are; an escape from life, or fashion, these are symbols of a personality. The trick is not to lose ourselves, and this is essentially the purpose of a pre-collection: to discover what was never touched, and to predict the shapes of things to come. To emphasize the styling, Sneakers Supported by Adidas Originals and Sunglasses supported Gaya Shades’s Le specs, Le specs Karl&Craig & Ksubi.
